Course Details
Newton Stewart Golf Club - Newton Stewart
Opened in 1896, set in mature parkland on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park with views of lofty Cairnsmore and Wigtown Bay. Basically on two levels with a short climb to the 3rd tee, the first of five very different par 3s which are a feature and all played in different directions. Our own "Amen Corner" are three holes set around a picturesque lochan with a burn flowing through. Fine mature trees and gorse(whins) frame several holes to concentrate the mind.

During the week it is usually quite easy to get on the course but it is wise to check with the steward to make sure the tee is available for the time you require. Golf parties accepted and should certainly make prior arrangements where possible.
